Have a good dayWhat is Day Hab?

Day Hab is a structured, uplifting daytime program that helps individuals strengthen daily living skills, improve social connections, and work toward personal goals. Our approach is simple: supportive guidance, hands-on learning, and positive experiences that build greater independence.

What does the program offer?

We design each day to be engaging, growth-focused, and tailored to the needs of each participant.

Life Skills Training

Participants learn practical skills such as cooking, budgeting, personal care routines, communication, hygiene, safety awareness, and more — all taught in a supportive, step-by-step format.

Mental Health Support

Our team provides encouragement, structure, and a calm environment that promotes emotional wellness. We focus on building self-esteem, managing stress, and supporting healthy social interactions.

Community Integration

We believe Sioux City offers amazing opportunities for growth. Participants enjoy community outings, volunteering, recreational activities, and experiences that help them feel connected and confident.

Creative & Recreational Activities

Arts and crafts, music, group games, fitness, and skill-building workshops encourage expression, teamwork, movement, and fun throughout the day.

Individualized Goals

Every person’s journey is unique. We work closely with members and their support teams to create personalized plans that encourage progress at a comfortable pace.
